My First Laptop

I bought a Compaq Presario Laptop on 10.08.2005.

Model: Compaq Presarion M2202TU
Configuration is Mobile Intel Celeron 1.3 GHz, 256MB, 40 GB HDD, 24x DVD combo, 15" LCD.

It came with Mandrake 9.2 ... its rather old version. I never liked any other distro other than Debian :-) I like the command line more useful.

Tail of the story :)

After 23 months of life, the display unit got bad. Service person told me that back light got damaged. It cost almost half the cost of laptop to replace that. I hate COMPAQ now.
